There is a story behind these beautiful roses.
We went to see a minor league baseball game on the spur of a moment. There was a moderate crowd in attendance. At the end of the ballgame we were treated to a magnificent fireworks display courtesy of a local hospital. But it was not over yet. At all exits were helpers handing rose bouquets (24 pink, yellow, white, red) to all ladies. They were a thank you gift to all attendees for coming to this benefit game. All proceeds of the night were donated to a family with a little boy undergoing cancer treatment. On the wrapper of the bouquet was a thank you note from the parents with the picture of the boy. This was totally unexpected. We are hoping the little boy will make it. We are also making an additional donation via the website.
