The new Tappan Zee Bridge is under construction. It is crossing the Hudson River at one of its widest points, connecting South Nyack in Rockland County with Tarrytown in Westchester County in the Lower Hudson Valley,The total length of the bridge and approaches is 16,013 feet (4881m).
