This time we were looking towards the East. New highrise buildings are being erected along the harbour boulevard. We were informed that Reykjavik is a growing city. Two thirds of Iceland's population lives here. Our tour bus driver said he lives about three hours away from the city. He works here alternating weeks. He is home one week and lives in the city the next week.
