One day I inquired at the municipal office why there was no safe way to cross this stream. There were old concrete markers left indicating that once upon a time there had been some kind of a bridge. A few months later we walked here again and found somebody had placed this little bridge connecting the Highlands Trail and Sussex Branch Trail. Oh joy, no more wet feet.
