A somber sight indeed! Between wildfires, climate change and ocean oil spills, our beautiful land seems doomed these days. Lets hope there can be a remedy. We have our work cut out for us! Meanwhile, a fine shot, Gill. The black shadows of the scorched trees really add to the composition interest here!

scorched earth indeed, as there is hardly a trace of undergrowth left...fine shot to exemplify the huge impact on forests around there..
