Tasty Lunch

Lumby, BC

There are two of these nesting in the garden, flitting around and not easy to catch.
I think they are house wrens.

Hope he is enjoying his lunch! The birds are wonderful for keeping insects at bay, and I for one have plenty of those in my garden! What a wonderful image capture, Gill!

well caught in profile to highlight its prey...prime setting too...yes, looks like a wren, and they are furtive and elusive..

Wait a second! Is that a spider in it’s beak? I am having conflicted feelings here Gill!. Great catch though! ;-)
