Crow

Lumby, BC

We have a couple making a nest where I can keep an eye on them.
One seems to have a source of what looks like buns which it
brings to the bird bath to dip and soften before eating it !!

Crows are very clever but I think they are still under estimated. Make sure it’s not baby birds. They wiped out some of the nests in my yard. I watched a crow eat a full size Robin that was dazed from flying into a window. Amazing birds but they are like the coyotes of the sky. They want it, they’ll get it and they are everywhere .

maybe it is focaccia and the crow does not like the crust....they are clever though at finding solutions...fine catch on the exuberant pine tree..
