Guiding_Light

Sovereign Lakes, Vernon, BC

Snowshoeing at night has to be challenging -
carrying gear, trying not to fall over, and
to see via a head lamp. The lodge is well
lit and is a comfort.

Stellar capture and portrayal of the late day light and shadow in this toned monochrome. I really feel like I am there. Of course, that we have that same icy cold weather right now. ~BV~

This is a very beautiful photo, Gill. I am in awe of you for snowshoeing at night, it's challenging enough in daylight.

The trees create a beautiful image against the clear sky and dark interior. v

bravo Gill for undertaking the challenging adventure....the trees (spruce?) give the location a kind of cosiness, although that is undermined by the wintry conditions..

A lovely capture, but not something I'd ever want to try! V.

It's hard enough to keep to a trail in daylight. I'd sure want to see city light to follow.
