Great giant Baobab and wonderful dry-season savanna landscape. Wouldn't it be fascinating also to see this in the green season?

The difference in size is striking! Fascinating landscape as well. V.

A baby giraffe or a giant tree. Amazing that the tree grew so big. V

shade must be at a premium here...amazing the baobab grew so large in this hostile environment..

What a giant tree, and yes, the giraffe surely gives a good scale. I agree, an inpressive tree. V

Very nice composition to give scale.V.

Some shade behind the massive trunk of this bare tree. There doesn't seem to be anything edible anywhere for this giraffe. Well shot.

Such a strong and proud looking tree dominating the landscape. Amazing size next to the giraffe. B

The Giraffe gives scale to this tree. The surrounding area looks even more arid than parts of Southern California. "V"
