Cruck HouseLacock.jpg

Lacock, Wiltshire

This little town, run by the National Trust, has architecture dating back to the 13th century. This house was one of the earliest in Lacock and built from timber, stone and brick - a cruck being a "curved timber extending to the ground in the framework of a type of medieval house roof"
