There is nothing quite like getting up in the very cold and early hours before dawn, to climb a large hill envisaging a solitary experience of watching the sunrise on the first day of 2009, only to get to the top and realise that 3 coach loads of Chinese tourists, with drummers and dragons have got there before you. Initial disappointment over with- they did actually make for a unique experience and, having ticked that box, had all disappeared 15 minutes after sunrise leaving us with the wall all to ourselves.
