Thanks for looking and commenting. It really looks good and the new parts are quite well done and the refurbishment of the old sections is really, really well done. Although they've replaced those "one size fits all" wooden head rests in in the dome theater.

Having grown up in LA, I have many fond memories of the Griffith Observatory, the planetarium and laser light shows and the spectacular views. It looks like the renovation has been a great success, can’t wait to check it out in person on my next visit. Like all the images in the gallery, but my favorite is PICT0037001. Thanks for sharing these with us, Craig!

Thanks for looking. You do need to work your way up there, it's really worth getting up to for the views and it's such a classic part of the L.A. experience, especially for tourists.
