Andrew and Marie came out for a short trip in November 2007. Most of these are from that trip, a few were taken at the same places and added to show some of what they saw that I didn't reshoot. Sunday, during the shower, Andrew, John and I hit Cajon Pass. Unfortunately it was both quiet and really hazy. Monday I was able to take Liz, Marie and Andrew on a ride around the L.A. area. We drove around a bit and ended up in Hollywood, at the Griffith Park Planetarium, then down to the area near Mann's Chinese Theater. We then drove through West Hollywood and Beverly Hills to Malibu. From there we drove to the harbor to see the lights (and trains). Tuesday we went to Disneyland and ate at the Rainforest Cafe in Downtown Disney - a part of the Anaheim Disney resort complex. As is probably obvious, the Halloween decorations are down, replaced by the Christmas holiday theme decorations. Even "It's a Small World" is spiffed up for the holidays. It will be closing for an extensive rehabilitation and repair period after the holidays.
