the sun comes from the south, slightly southeast, so it is shortly before noon...
and yet the shadows are rather long, for that time of the day,
it means the sun is rather low, like in the late fall, or in winter ...
and also you can tell from the shadows of those beings
much more than from what you see of their bodies !
