Hi Gil,
I'm writing The Encyclopedia Of Jerry Garcia Music Venues. I'm interested in locating a photo of Draper's Music. I'd need it at least 1mb or larger.
Please email me at slipnut01@gmail.com.

Thank you
Harry Angus

Hello Gil, So nice to meet you at Irina's Allegro Gallery in Woodside a few weeks ago -- and to meet the man behind these lovely images and finally, the person behind one of my favorite Palo Alto institutions, Draper's Music. Hope to see you out shooting sometime soon. --Lorrie Duval and David Cardinal, CardinalPhoto, www.cardinalphoto.com.

Beautiful pictures, we met at Point Lobos, and I am now officially embarking on my amateur "career" as a wildlife and nature photographer, but really just a picture taker.... I hope to get to a level somewhere near you vast experience, just so I too, can enjoy the splendid images that nature provides us all. Thanks for posting your works for me to study,

kindest regards,

Gil - stunning shots, particularly spirits along the road less travel, and the flower shots! Tom

Hi Gil. Stopped by Allegro Framing in Portola Valley today and was delighted to see your beautiful work. I met you last year and you took me to the Ansel Adams exhibit at Cantor Museum. You were instrumental in my decision to attend 11 weeks of intensive photographpy training at Rocky Mountain School of Photography this past summer. Thank you!! Judy

"People travel to wonder at the height of the mountains, at the
huge waves of the seas, at the long course of the rivers, at
the vast compass of the ocean, at the circular motion of the
stars, and yet they pass by themselves without wondering."

Hello Again,
It has been awhile since my last contact with you. Hope your Holidays were great and the New Year the same so far.I have been busy with signing up for classes at the JC here in Napa and looking forward to learning so much. Sometimes at the monthly meetings here I feel so very lost due to the fact most of the members are professionals. I am going to Alaska and stop in Vancouver June 1st. I plan to take a great deal of photos while there.
Barbara Brundage is offering trips and photo shoots again. But my plate is full at the moment with the new classes. Take care Gilbert. would be nice to hear from you again.

Hi, I am a little slow in the comment area as I am very new at this photography thing that has consumed my very being. I have so much to learn and am so excited to absorb everything about this new world I have finally entered. Your photographs are so sincere and I do hope to accomplish a small part of your talent. I contacted you before but did not leave an email or comment.I have been on one photo shoot in my area and am looking forward to many more in the future. I live in the beautiful Napa Valley and have begun to offer some of my photos from this wonderful area for sale.Would appreicate any comments or advice you care to share with me. Keep up the great work. Meri Lu

Hi Gil, my name is Leslie, I am a cousin of Mark & Ann's, we were talking last night while showing her some of my pictures and she told me to go to your web site, it is very nice work,I liked the abstracts. She said you have gone full time, that's great, I am still doing it just on week ends. I also am a photographer, but do mostly wedding and events,we are now just getting into green screen, which seems to be working out very nicely. I have a web site if you have a chance to go there to see it, www.photographybyleslie.com I belong to 2 photography clubs which are very informative and educational. Hopefully we will meet one day to talk about photography. I just got back from Calif. photographing my son's wedding in the Northern part of Calif. Freemont area. Good luck, Leslie

Beautiful stuff .... soft and tender. The photographs have a vaporous, fleeting quality to them as if looked at from a lover's eyes. Who would expect this from a kid from Brooklyn? Well done, Gil!

It doesn't surprise me to see such truly great work from Gil Draper. In fact, I'd expect nothing less.
