'The Silly Season'

When I was a professional fire-fighter we always called the very dry spring months 'The Silly Season' because of the number of mountain fires started by complete mindless idiots. Things have not changed and spring 2010 is turning out to be a record breaker for the number of calls recieved by the South Wales Fire Service.

Hello , Thanks for showing the dangerous situation in your area. I do travel past
mountain ash on my way to the waterfall walks.
