We met John Evans when he was in his third year of study as a Domincan. John spent a year in residence at All Saints Catholic Newman Center in Tempe, Arizona.

The first time we saw John he was sitting, waiting for Mass to start. I've never seen anyone with a more contented look on his face.

I _hate_ people who are so happy and contented!

But of course no one could hate John, and we have been fortunate to know him, to spend time with him, and to be allowed to attend his ordination as a Dominican Catholic Priest.
