Limited photos documenting a camping trip from hell down the Peace River in Southwest Florida in late February 2002. It rained from the moment we were dropped off by the bus, to the moment we reached the destination point and returned to our cars. Rain alone would not have been so bad, but it was persistent, cold, often torrential rain from a stalled weather front. The 20 degree drop in temperature and horizontal rain on the second day caused us to cut our trip short by one day.
