I discovered there are two sides to Barbados on this vacation.  There’s the topside, and the underwater side.  Almost all the topside sites in Barbados are accessible by the bus system, for $1.50 each way – now that was fun, and cheaper than a charter or taxi, if not as customized and personal.

Barbados is not known as a diving destination, and I had a great time with one of the small operators Eco Dive Barbados.  Andrew the manager had the audacity to promise turtles - heard that before - the difference here is that he delivered!
