At the Alum Cave Bluffs, 2.5 miles from the trailhead in the Great Smoky Mountain National Park. This trail goes another 2.8 miles to Mt. LeConte. Some camping and a lodge. Supplies for the lodge are packed in from another trail on llamas. Also met a man who to date this year had walked to the lodge delivering some newspapers up and down the 10 mile round trip 56 times this year.
