I learn late that my dear teacher, mentor and friend Elisha passed away. I met Elisha when he was my Tanach Teacher in Oranim and a wonderful friendship developed that lasted over 50 years. Elisha was the one to whom I turned and asked for guidance, I followed in his footsteps and became a Tanach instructor. Every year as my opening statement in class I say "I am your teacher because of Dr. Elisha Linder" and this way thousands of my students meet the most influencial person in my life. He attended my wedding and was aware of what was going on in my life. A few years ago we went out for "KAVA" in Zichron, and he was embarrased of his looks due to his sickness. He told me about his children, grandchildren, Tovale and of course his greatest fan and supporter Penina. We spend few hours walking around, remember old friends and episodes. I promised to visit again but I was too late.
