A little mess at United check-in counters.
The incoming aircraft we were supposed to board was diverted to Canberra due to closure of Sydney airport earlier that morning for several hours as smoke was detected at the control tower.
We spent around 20 minutes at the counter to find alternative flights, finally we were able to rebook our flight SYD-SFO and SFO-BUR (Burbank airport).
