HSI LAI TEMPLE

"Hsi Lai" means "coming to the west" and signifies the dedication of the Fo Guang Shan Buddhist Order to spread the teachings of the Buddha to those in the West. The construction of Hsi Lai Temple was completed in 1988. Located in Hacienda Heights, about 25 miles east of Los Angeles. Hsi Lai Temple has become a major landmark in San Gabriel Valley.

the little monk statues really interest me and I want to see about purchasing some or were they made especially for the temple. Who designed them?
