The Tall Ships' races are held every summer in European waters. Every year between 70 and 100 ships from 15-20
countries, crewed by some 6,000 young people from over 30 countries worldwide, take part in this unique event. The
fleet always calls on four ports. This year the finish was at den Helder (Holland). In all the ports of call big sail events are
organized. The final event at den Helder was the PARADE OF SAIL on August 23rd 2008.
