Marie Louise of Hesse-Kassel (7 February 1688 – 9 April 1765) was a Dutch regent, Princess of Orange by marriage to John William Friso, Prince of Orange, and regent of the Netherlands during the minority of her son and her grandson. She was a daughter of Charles I, Landgrave of Hesse-Kassel, and Maria Amalia of Courland. Maria Louise van Hessen-Kassel (Kassel, 7 februari 1688 - Leeuwarden, 9 april 1765), bijgenaamd Marijke Meu of Maaike Meu, was de moeder van stadhouder Willem IV en in die hoedanigheid van 1711 tot 1731 regentes voor hem. Tevens was zij van 1759 tot 1765 regentes voor haar minderjarige kleinzoon stadhouder Willem V.
