This remarkable Memorial exists of a long row of metal shoes
on the spot where many jews were killed during the pogroms
by the Cross Arrows, a Hungarian nazi organization.
The victims were forced to put off their shoes and then were
machinegunned into the Danube that washed their dead bodies away.
