House Altenloh at the Royal Square in Brussels that houses the Magritte Museum, is a neoclassical building,
built in 1779. Neo classical on the outside, the entrance hall, however, is abundantly decorated with
art nouveau/art deco elements, probably from the period when The Gresham Insurance Company
owned the building. They purchased it in 1900.
