Wat Doi Pui, วัดดอยปุย, is a temple located on Doi Pui (Pui Mountain) above Chiang Mai. "Doi" (ดอย) is the Thai word for "Mountain", so it is frequently seen in the Thai highlands. The temple's Ubosot is relatively new and does not follow the more traditional designs for such buildings. At the time of my visit, the temple was holding cremation rites for a recently deceased monk.
