Chinese Temple Chee Chin Khor, สมาคมเผยแผ่คุณธรรม”เต็กก่า” จีจินเกาะ, is home to the Chee Chin Khor Moral Uplifting Society, an individual moral body which is one of the member organizations of Moral Uplifting Societies of Thailand, involved in the dissemination of moral values and in charitable works. Established in 1952, His Majesty King Rama IX graciously presided over the opening ceremony of the Society on February 25, 1953. Since then the activities of the Society have continually been developed and have been successful. In 1988 a new Deva Vihara (Hall of Worship) was constructed on the banks of the Chao Phraya River. The Vihara is used for praying, observation of religious rites and practical religious precepts, and is used as the Society's permanent headquarters. The Deva Vihara is Buddhist art of both Thai and Chinese styles. The principal Buddha image and images of Bodhisattvas are enshrined inside the Deva Vihara. Her Royal Highness Princess Sirindhorn presided over the opening ceremony of the Deva Vihara on April 17, 1993. On August 10, 2001, His Holiness Somdet Phrayanna Sangworn the Supreme Patriarch kindly presided over the opening ceremony for the Grand Pagoda, Mahathat Chedi Phrachomchatri Thai-chin Chaloem, which was built to coincide with His Majesty King Rama IX's sixtieth birthday celebration.
