I make airy, lightweight open-finger gloves, because I need them. Usually even in hot weather.
While they may appear to be too delicate - especially to people with no history of hand or skin trouble -
I have put them to the test and find that they are utilitarian, reusable, and an effective shield
for my damaged skin.
I was unable to find anything sold anywhere that worked for me. So I designed my own gloves in two types of fabric.
My gloves are not the typical 'PPE' of the day, but for someone suffering from hand eczema, psoriasis, stiffness, whatever -
they can help ease some pain. I sometimes wear them over or under disposable plastic gloves (compostable non-plastic, if available)
when my skin is particularly sore.
