Wow! I really like the taste. I bought this
for a few reasons, one being that it tested
very well with Lead Safe Mama -- it's not
toxic like, sadly, most widely-used flour
turns out to be. So, that's nice. As well,
I wish to slow the build-up of plastic bags
around here. So making my own bread helps.
Yes, I did put away my bread machine. Don't
need that, because I made pan bread, just a
single serving. I preheated a little olive oil
in a tiny cast iron pan. Then in a small bowl
I mixed 2 Tbsps einkorn flour, 2 tsps water,
and 1/2 tsp olive oil. Rolled it and flattened
it by hand (no rolling pin or board). Tossed
it into the pan, cooked it a few minutes until
it looked good, turning it a few times.
