Thank's to a friend of mine , photographer Randy Holland , for sharing a photo of this rarely seen moth on his website in the spring of '08. His post really fired me up to get a photo of this unique moth.
After alittle research about what flower's this moth liked , i set out to find him.I found this Hummingbird Moth in a patch of Bergamot , acting like a Hummingbird going around to each flower.That was a very exciting moment to witness this unique moth , and to capture his behavior in this photo.
