The thing here is that the Khmer Rouge specifically killed the educated. They believed in a casteless "pheasant" society, and strived for a utopian form of communism based upon that of China's. Given that, it isn't surprising that they murdered the children as well, of whom are impressionable and easy to manipulate against their wishes. Children who were free were expected to "rat out" their own parents if they didn't actually believe in the movement. I don't think they would have cared that they "didn't even graduate".

this is rediculous people. how do you kill a faces like this. they didnt even graduate. i sure would love to go see this prison someday, just to feel how sceared these children could have been. but then again, i guess that would make me kill killers
