These amazing little legless lizards, like other members of the genus Delma, are capable of jumping, using their coiled body like a
spring. Unfortunately, their leglessness, in combination with their brownish colouration, leads many people to believe that they are
baby brown snakes (which incidentally are often strongly banded). These harmless lizards like long grass and prey on invertebrates.
