Deux femmes — l'une plus âgée que l'autre, toutes deux seules et situées de part et d'autre — admirent le paysage fluvial depuis le même pont, tandis que des piétons circulent dans la rue en arrière-plan. Ce qui est remarquable, c'est qu'elles regardent toutes deux vers le même côté de la rive ; elles se tournent ainsi vers votre appareil photo, offrant une vue de trois-quarts de leur visage. Cela rend la photographie plus intéressante. Peut-être y a-t-il davantage de promeneurs ou de cyclistes sur cette rive, ou encore des couples qui rament... Vous ne présentez pas seulement une scène de rue et de pont ; vous invitez également le spectateur à imaginer une vue urbaine plus pittoresque et apaisante au bord de l'eau. ~VVVVV+++~

Two women—one older than the other, both alone and positioned on opposite sides—admire the river landscape from the same bridge, while pedestrians move along the street in the background. What is striking is that they are both looking toward the same bank; they are thus turned toward your camera, offering a three-quarter view of their faces. This makes the photograph more interesting. Perhaps there are more walkers or cyclists on that bank, or even couples out rowing... You are presenting not just a scene of a street and a bridge; you are also inviting the viewer to imagine a more picturesque and soothing urban vista by the water. ~VVVVV+++~
