La Mercedes-Benz 500 K Special Roadster de 1936 n'est pas seulement une voiture de luxe performante, mais aussi un modèle d'une grande rareté : seuls 29 exemplaires de ce cabriolet à deux portes ont été produits. Elle se distingue de la berline 500 par le « K », abréviation de *Kompressor* (terme allemand signifiant « compresseur »). ~VVVVV+~

The 1936 Mercedes-Benz 500 K Special Roadster is not only a high-performance luxury car, but also a model of great rarity: only 29 in total of this two-door convertible were produced.
It is distinguished from the 500 sedan by the "K"—an abbreviation for *Kompressor* (the German term for "supercharger"). ~VVVVV+~
