Cette photo symbolise la puissance de la dynastie des Hohenzollern qui s'étendait jusqu'à l'est. Ses membres furent tour à tour princes, électeurs, rois et empereurs de Hohenzollern, de Brandebourg, de Prusse, du Saint-Empire romain germanique et de Roumanie. La lignée roumaine perdura jusqu'en 1947, tandis que la domination allemande et prussienne prit fin avec la défaite de la Roumanie lors de la Première Guerre mondiale en 1918. ~VVVVV~

Their family members were variously princes, electors, kings and emperors of Hohenzollern, Brandenburg, Prussia, the German Empire, and Romania.
