A good street capture. I noticed two big dogs, in my view well taken care. An image capable to tell many stories. VVV.

Not sure I would agree with Denise. I see sadness in both their eyes. The dogs look cared for and have water. If the dogs were unhappy with their companion they would leave. It is a telling photo of hard times. V

Je vois de la tristesse dans les yeux du chien, pas dans ceux de l'homme. L'homme ne se soucie que de savoir si vous passez devant lui sans laisser d'argent. Mais l'impuissance dans les yeux du chien est presque de la colère et de l'hostilité, car son maître le laisse assis dans la rue toute la journée, sans liberté ni fierté, juste comme deux outils pour gagner la sympathie des passants. Un maître sans vergogne qui préfère parier plutôt que travailler par choix. Ses vêtements et ses chaussettes ne sont pas sales. Il n'est pas sans abri. ~VVVV~

I see sadness in the eyes of the dog, not in the eyes of the man. The man's only watching out if you would walk past him without leaving any money. But, the helplessness in the dog's eyes is almost anger and hostility, because his owner is making them sit still in the street all day without any freedom or pride, just being two tools to help him gain sympathy from people who walk by. A shameless owner who would rather bet than work by choice. His clothes and socks are not filthy. He's not homeless. ~VVVV~

Cette vue me procure une tristesse profonde. Comment peut-on en arriver là, alors qu'il y a des possibilités de travailler sans grande qualification? Certains choisissent ce mode de vie, mais là, cela ne me semble pas le cas quand je vois cette détresse dans ce regard. V
