Ireland beat Wales 15 - 17 yesterday 21st March, to become the Six Nations Champions and Grand Slam winners of 2009. It was an exciting game right from the start straight through to the nail-biting end.

Great game, well played by both sides, Wales has the edge in the National Anthem though, nothing like hearing "Mae Hen Wlad Fy Nhadau" "The Land Of My Fathers" sung in full voice. Enjoyed every moment and every game, yes we do get the games on TV even out here. Great gallery Keith...

Hi Keith, glad you had the chance to visit the proper part of Wales. I rememebr as a boy being taken on several occasions to see the Welsh team train at Aberavon and standing amidst the likes of Gareth, JPR, Gerald Davies etc. Went many times to the old national stadium - my father was a big rugby man having played for Bridgend and local team Kenfig Hill and could always get tickets. Great times! Shame about yesterday's result. Best wishes, John
