I've spent years tracking down an ancestor who lived in the area. Tonight I think i've deduced she came from this house - googled and found your eloquent study. Kind of haunting. She died at 24 in 1838. 1841 census puts these people in the house... Robert Jones 16 M Ag Lab Elizabeth Hughes 25 F F S Robert Jones 60 M Farmer Catherine Owen 60 F Owen Roberts 20 M Jane Roberts 20 Catherine was the wife, Owen & Jane children, still using Welsh patrynomy. Just thought i'd name some of the people your images are evoking...
