Some very good photos you have taken there, good to see that some repair work has been carried out on observatory,i've worked in and around that particular area when i use to work in the forestry,it looks so different now the trees have been felled as you head up towards bala.I now serve with the 1st Battalion the Royal Welsh(Royal welch Fusiliers) and have done so now for the last 12 years, but i always find history like this very interesting, when were the artillary training up in bronaber was it before or after the second world war?.Most of my training is done in the hills of sennybridge i know that area now like the back of my hand, wet and cold, ha ha ,anyway keep up the good work ,all the best Aneurin Lloyd.

vehicle damage created by materials transport to site will be addressed in spring when the site has dried out
