The Eastern Gable Window

This window is dedicated to Elizabeth Hatton Wood, she and her husband, Richard Henry Wood were ardent Church members, they donated the lectern and font amongst other things to the Church. The following words are upon it: “To the Glory of God and in pious memory of his servant Elizabeth Hatton Wood of Pantglas who fell asleep in Jesus July 14 1904 aged 82 years. In Pace. Amen”. An image of her can be seen on the left hand window dressed in the “Hatton” coat of arms – a chevron between three wheatsheaves.
