What a wonderful project to restore the Blaenau to Bala railway. Of course it would have to be re-routed around Llyn Celyn and cost a huge amount but think of the tourist potential. Thanks for the great photos. I intend to walk the line on the side of Cwm Prysor soon.

shame they can't get rid of railway track from Blaenau to Traws, it would make a really nice walk too

some good pictures of the view above my house at Tan Yr Allt and yes the walk along the line is beautiful, even in the snow.

Walked this in 1992, brings back memories, especially as i had an ex railwayman with me who drove on this line
