American Wigeon (Mareca americana) male and Eurasian Wigeon (Mareca penelope) Purmerend, Purmerbos (NH)

Vagrant from North America, every year several American Wigeons are observed in the Netherlands in flocks of Eurasian Wigeon. Sometimes hybrids between the 2 species are observed.
