From 10-18 November 2023 we made a birding trip to Colombia , my 3rd visit to this wonderful country. Visiting the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta, Tayrona National Park & Guajira Peninsula.

256 Birds species were observed, including 80 Lifers and 17 Endemic Birds from the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta. A host of mammals, reptiles, amphibians and other wildlife were also observed.
Colombia has extraordinary biodiversity! The Santa Marta Mountains have been identified as the planet's single most important and irreplaceable site for threatened and endemic biodiversity.
The range is home to over 600 bird species, including 24 endemics.
