*All the birds and other wildlife in the pictures are wild and native*
From 23-31 july 2019 I joined a birding trip organized by a group of US birders, followed by a few days in the Grand Canyon area. The birding was very successful:
We observed 161 species including 108 lifers. Special birds were the rare Rufous Capped warbler, Elegant Trogons, 10 species of Hummingbird and Californian Condors.
We had also a lot of mammal, reptile, butterfly and other insect sightings. The landscapes were impressive with a large variation of vegetation zones from desert to montane pine forest.
Arizona is a Top birding destination with many species which are not found elsewhere in the US. Special thank's to Karen Holliday, Kevin Morgan and Chao "Jimmy" Wu for organizing this wonderful trip!
