Long-tailed Duck female with Ring-necked Ducks

Very distant image -- where is Bala when you need him?! Identification by whitish face with dark crown and large dark spot on rear auriculars extending slightly to nape; white neck and underparts (except dark band on much of breast, not well seen here). Upperparts dark, wings all dark. Sexed as female by all gray bill. Has small pointed tail, at waterline in this photo. Note small size of this petite duck compared to Ring-neckeds
