Bald Eagle adult attacking Am. Coot

Seen near the active nest in north Guntersville. This hungry bird spotted an Am. Coot isolated from the rest of the flock and made repeated passes at the terrified bird. With each run the coot would quickly dive underwater, only to be harried again and again. Finally the eagle gave up, leaving a shaken coot to rejoin the others.
