Much of Laguna beach is inaccessible due to private land ownership. There are, however, several access points to the coastline open to the general public. This photo was taken from one such location, a small community park with sweeping views of the Laguna Beach coastline. This photo is a good example of the effectiveness of including a silhouetted object. The sunset is simply stunning but needed the silhouetted palms to complete the image
