We enjoyed a delicious lunch in the cozy atmosphere of Admiral Risty's tented pavilion. Marilyn Siemon-Burgeson, LACIC Chair, was on hand to induct our new officers: Mary Shackle - Membership VP, Jan Cofer -Treasurer and Penny Stein - Program VP. We presented two service awards - One to Robbie Winters for her tremondous support to our branch as a tireless participant of Readers Theater and one to Jacky Mason for her inspired leadership of Readers Theater and her committment to the AAUW mission. Cordelia presented the EF Century Club awards for 2006. Recipients are Marion Smith, Cordelia Hwang herself, Jacky Mason, Anne Destabelle, and Nancy Forbes. Nancy also received a certificate of Appreciation for her generous contribution to LAF. And last but not least, Jacky presented a brief history of Readers Theater and the generous donations from Reader's theater - $2000.00 to EF and $1500.00 to Tech Trek.
